10/21 DC Food Trucks

Join the Food Truck bandwagon! Food Trucks have been in the United States since the expansion westward, feeding cattlemen. Food Trucks have evolved greatly since then, turning into great cuisine on the go! Food Trucks use Facebook and Twitter to keep their followers updated on where they move throughout the city each day. This week, Kimball Office has created a guide to the Food Trucks in D.C. With more than 50 food trucks in D.C. alone, this week we will be focusing on the savory Food Trucks, perfect for lunch! Enjoy!

In The News! Cosmo Couture Event in DC
This year's Cosmo Couture was based on photos taken by each design team of something in the D.C. area. Kimball Office partnered with Kling Stubbins to create a dress for the event this year based on "Metro Chic". Metro Chic is symmetry vs. asymmetry,  sleek and striking, and innovative.

The model wore a dress made of Hum Wool Felt, Interstuhl Fit Mesh, and Hum Metal Panels

Product Of The Week! Hum. Minds At Work
This week we are showcasing Hum. Minds At Work. Hum was an inspiration for the Kling Stubbins dress this year at Cosmo Couture, along with the Metro Station at Pentagon City.

Pentagon City Metro Station

Hum is the prefect system for minds at work. It creates a collaborative work environment that can be specialized to work in any space. Hum can be created with a variety of mixed materials for total flexibility. Some of its options include: Metal See Me Screens, Wool Felt Central Screens and Modesty Panels, and Straight Grain Composite Veneer.
