11/25 Happy Thanksgiving from Kimball Office



This Thanksgiving, here is what the Kimball Office DC Staff is thankful for:


  • Our Families
  • Our Health
  • My five year old son, and that he hugs me for no particular reason
  • Husband because he is my best friend, Happy 7th Anniversary this Thanksgiving!
  • And my Job, because I never think of it as a job, but a place to learn, grow, and lead a great team.
  • Having a Job in this economy when so many others don't
  • For all of the wonderful people I have encountered over the years, and for enduring friendships.
  • The opportunity to work with such wonderful people at Kimball Office
  • For my family coming and visiting me at Thanksgiving- it has been three years since we have all seen each other!

Cool Things We Love: Some Great Thanksgiving Recipes!
These top notch recipes will win over your family and friends.


Good Eats Roast Turkey- This recipe by Food Network Star Alton Brown creates a delicious crunchy crust with a juicy inside. We recommend skipping the brining process to save time.


This recipe has been voted the #1 Turkey recipe on Food Network.com for the past few years.

Pumpkin Roll- This is a fun take on a classic dessert, Pumpkin Pie. It is a perfect dessert or even brunch item. 


Boursin- This garlic spread goes perfect with Bagel Crisps and is a great appetizer! We recommend making double of this batch, its a crowd pleaser! 
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter softened (1/2 a stick)
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 tsp herbs de provence

  • 1 tsp minced parsley
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/4 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Worchestire sauce 
Mix all together in food processor until smooth. Store in fridge.

11/11 Annapolis Edition

Annapolis, the capital of Maryland, is just an hour outside of Washington D.C. A center of sailing and boating, Annapolis is also the home of the United States Naval Academy. This city, with colonial heritage, is the perfect weekend get away for a more relaxed pace than D.C.

The kitchen has been recognized as one of the most beautiful in the world, and the food coming out of it is just as beautiful. The Source DC
The Source DC is truly a special dining experience. This asian-fusion restaurant by Wolfgang Puck is a three level dining experience located inside of the Newseum in DC. Each level offers a different dining experience. The lower level has a private dining room that can seat up to 40 people, perfect for a special office event. The other two levels offer two different types of asian cuisine- A traditional Japanese Izakaya menu featuring Asian- inspired delights, and contemporary interpretations of Asian dishes.
