New Things To Try In The Area: Restaurants Galore!

First check out the brand new Hamilton Restaurant, sibbling to the Old Ebbit and Clyde's, located in DC. Then check out our list of some great restaurants to host an office function at! The Hamilton

The newets Clyde's Restaurant, The Hamilton, just opened on December 18th caddy corner to The Old Ebbit Grill. Staying open 24-7, this restaurant is perfect for early morning grub or late night grabs! The entire bottom level has been transformed in to a great music venue that will soon become the new artistic underground.

Some of our favorites on The Hamilton menu that we can't wait to try include: Sweet Potato Gnocchi, The Hamilton Burger with smoked bacon, cheddar, and onions, The Hot Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich, Pink Grapefruit Tart, The Yellowtail Carpaccio, The Veal Cutlet, Turkey Pot Pie, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, and Duck Carbonara.

What are you most looking forward to?-  I look forward to seeing/helping the DC office to grow in sales volume, enhance knowledge of Kimball Office in the A&D community and form greater and stronger connections with brokers, building owners and the design professionals in the DC/MD/VA metro market.

3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?- In five years I hope to be one of the best A&D liasions in the area.

12/2 Holiday Season Beginnings

After an overstuffed Thanksgiving, Kimball Office is preparing for the hectic Holiday Season! This week's blog highlights a new addition to the Kimball Office family: Maya Sampson. Maya Sampson,  Government Sales Manager- Mid- Atlantic

We are pleased to announce the addition of Maya Sampson to Kimball Office as a Government Sales Manager for our Mid- Atlantic Region. 

Maya is a sales professional with over 5 years of experience with confirmed success working with federal, local, state and private sectors.  She has a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding established goals and objectives related to client relationships that result in increased revenue.

Maya’s most recent position gave her experience with identifying new sales opportunities within government and commercial account base and create customized solutions to meet customer needs and given her the opportunity to build long-standing relationships with customers in the market.

Maya has a Master of Arts/Organizational Management degree from the University of Phoenix, Denver, CO and is a member of IIDA.

Cool Things We Love: Some Great Thanksgiving Recipes!

These top notch recipes will win over your family and friends.


Good Eats Roast Turkey- This recipe by Food Network Star Alton Brown creates a delicious crunchy crust with a juicy inside. We recommend skipping the brining process to save time.

This recipe has been voted the #1 Turkey recipe on Food Network.com for the past few years.

Pumpkin Roll- This is a fun take on a classic dessert, Pumpkin Pie. It is a perfect dessert or even brunch item. 

Boursin- This garlic spread goes perfect with Bagel Crisps and is a great appetizer! We recommend making double of this batch, its a crowd pleaser! 

• 8 oz cream cheese
• 1/4 cup butter softened (1/2 a stick)
• 1/2 tsp seasoning salt

• 1-2 cloves of garlic
• 1/4 tsp herbs de provence

• 1 tsp minced parsley
• 1 tsp water
• 1/4 tsp red wine vinegar
• 1/2 tsp Worchestire sauce 

Mix all together in food processor until smooth. Store in fridge.
