10/14 Fall in DC

Fall is in full swing! The leaves are changing colors and the weather is starting to get cooler. This fall, why not try something new. Enjoy food? Try the Restaurant Week at the Village at Shirlington in VA. Head out to Centerville to attend the Fall Festival at Cox Farms for a fun time with family and friends! Like football? Grab tickets to this weekend's Redskin's football game against the Eagles at FedEx Field. However you spend your weekends, we hope you enjoy your Fall this year!

New Things To Try In The Area:

Passion Food Hospitality: District Commons, Burger Tap and Shake
This DC food group that has already brought us great dining experiences such as: DC Coast, Ceiba, Acadiana, and Passionfish, is now bringing two new restaurants to the DC food scene!

District Commons- Located at 2200 Pennsylvania Ave. in Foggy Bottom, District Commons has a wide range of "East Coast" favorites including: A Raw Bar, Scallops, Salmon, Burgers, Roasted Duck, Chicken, a wide range of artisanal hams, a catch of the day, and many others. District Commons would be the perfect place to have an "authentic" dinner with out of town guests or clients. For reservations call- 202 705 0706

Burger, Tap and Shake- A less pricy option to the other restaurants by Passion Food Hospitality, Burger Tap and Shake gives you a bang for your buck!

Some other exciting burgers (which are all 8 dollars) are: Haight-Ashbury Burger (veggie) and the Apache Sweat Lodge. For their entire menu check out their facebook page at Burger Tap and Shake.
