In The News! 50 Women of Power in Business Awards Luncheon
MEA Magazine, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency hosted the U.S.- Africa Trade and Investment Conference 2012 at the Washington Hilton this past Tuesday, the 15th of May. During the event, there was a luncheon recognizing 50 Women of Power in Business, which honored 50 women business leaders who are doing business nationally or internationally; women empowering communities around the world; and women shaping our economic future.

- The DfE, Design for the Environment Protocol, is used in the conceptualization and design of all new Kimball Office product.
- Kimball Office provides healthy products for its clients, with 98% of its product lines certified to the Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) Indoor Advantage Gold rating system, its best performance level for indoor air emissions. Several product lines also carry the stringent CAL 01350 designation.
- Housing its employees in sustainable environments, the Kimball Office headquarters and showroom facilities have been built to the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED rating standard for green buildings.
