Now that we are relaxed and well rested from the long weekend, Kimball Office Mid Atlantic is back in to the swing of things. This week, we are having a Baltimore Edition Blog to highlight all the exciting events and happenings in this growing city! Recently, one of our own team members, Staci Wlison, went up to Baltimore to drop off some great news, Kimball Office Products are 100% BIFMA Level approved!

New Things To Try In The Area:

Baltimore is famous for quality seafood! Specifically their Chesapeake crabs and crab cakes. Since it is the summer and seafood is in season, we have put together a list of the most popular seafood stops in the Baltimore Area. Test them out and let us know what you think!

Nick's Fish House & Grill
Located at 2600 Insulator Drive, Baltimore, MD, just south of the Inner Harbor, Nick's has been a popular seafood stop for years with the locals. This waterfront restaurant with a casual dining atmosphere has all of the most popular Maryland Seafoods including: steamed crabs, soft shell crabs, fish, shellfish, crab cakes, and shrimp.

Outdoor Dining

Harris Crab House
Located an hour from both Baltimore and DC, this crab house has been ranked continually as one of the best crab houses in Maryland, and was recently ranked as Baltimore Magazine's #2 Crab House. Located right on the Chesapeake Bay, 4 minuets away from the Bay Bridge, this scenic restaurant can be accessed by boat or car. Our ideal meal at this restaurant would include: Basket of Fries (with Old Bay), Basket of Hush Puppies, The Maryland Vegetable Crab Soup, Corn on the Cob, The Steamed Shrimp, The Snow Crab Legs or The Dungeness Crabs, and to finish it off The Homemade Nutty Buddies.

Located in Annapolis MD, about 45 minutes from Baltimore and 50 minutes from DC, Cantler's is known as a Chesapeake Tradition. With a menu including: Maryland Blue Crabs, Crab Cakes, Crab Imperial, Clams, Oysters, Shrimp, Fish, Lobster, and Scallops, this is any Seafood lover's dream! Cantler's has the perfect casual atmosphere for a waterside dinner with family and friends.

Cool Things We Love:

Burgers have always been a delicious American classic, but lately burger shops have been popping up in neighborhoods all over the Metropolitan Area. We already shared our new favorite place in DC, The Shake Shack, in our 1st Blog, and now we are going to share our favorite Baltimore spot!

Baltimore Burger Bar
Right next to Johns Hopkins University, at 830 W. 36th Street, BBB is a quick hit in the Hampden area. With a different menu every week, this unique Burger stop brings in customers of all ages. Our favorites include the different Ketchup's, The Grass-Fed Beef, and The Classic American Extras. BBB only has outdoor seating, so it is perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with friends, co-workers, or clients on a nice summer day.

BBB Storefront

When craving a sweet treat, Kimball Office Mid Atlantic has some go-to stores in Baltimore that always satisfy our sweet tooth. Be sure to check them out online or the next time your in the area!

Mouth Party
Voted Baltimore's Best Caramels by Baltimore Magazine, Mouth Party Caramels puts their "sweets where their mouths are". Our top picks are the Sea Salt Caramels, The OMG! Caramels (caramels dipped in chocolate), and The Cappuccino Caramels. With individually wrapped caramels, gift bags, boxes, and caramel sauce, Mouth Party has a wide variety of products that can be just for you or shared with a client. You can order everything online, or go pick them up at multiple different locations, including Banksy's Cafe, located at 6080 Falls Road in Baltimore.

The Fudgery
The Fudgery is a show and a delicious treat all in one! Located in The Harbor Place, 301 Light Street #37, the fudge is "fashioned" into its traditional log shape right in front of viewers, with songs and entertainment included. Our picks include The Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Caramel, and Chocolate Nut.

A notorious Fudge Log being created in front of customers.
