New Things To Try In The Area:
Luke's Lobster
Opening their doors in late May, this popular NY restaurant has made the move to DC! Located on 624 E. Street, NW, Luke's is the perfect summer casual lunch. The Schooner Combo is our favorite quick lunch pick at this classic New England-style restaurant. The Schooner includes one roll-Lobster, Shrimp, or Crab; chips, pickle, and a Maine Root soda. Be sure to check out this refreshing stop for lunch one day!
Sax Restaurant & Lounge
Opening in early May and located at 734 11th Street, NW, Washington D.C. Sax Restaurant & Lounge is not only a great eatery, but also a show. This Restaurant is much more like a venue, with two floors and 5,000 sq. feet of open space, and live performances including cabaret, ballet, and illusionists on a 20 ft. stage. Reservations are required for this special restaurant/performance.
Product Of The Week! Silver Chair
It's not a chair, its THE chair.
The Silver Chair, designed by designer Hadi Teherani, is by far our most "famous" chair, being featured in movies such as James Bond and Star Trek, and used by mogul Alan Michael Sugar, more known as Baron Sugar. This ultra modern and visually pleasing chair comes in four different heights for task seating, as well as options for guest seating. The Sliver Chair is manufactured by our partner company, Interstuhl. To read more about the Silver Chair and all of its options, click here.

Cool Things We Love:
With the temperature in D.C. going over 100 this week, keeping cool is a priority for everyone! One great way too cool off is by attending happy hours! Not only can you mingle with friends, co-workers, and clients, but you can stay cool! Here are some of our favorite spots in the D.C. area, let us know what you think!
Le Bar
806 15th Street, NW, Washington D.C.
Le Bar is less than a mile away from the Kimball Office D.C. Showroom and is one of the most popular D.C. Bars. Make sure you book a table if you are bringing a large crowd!
The Gibson
2009 14th Street, NW, Washington D.C.
The Gibson is just over a mile away from our D.C. showroom and is the brother of also popular Marvin. The Gibson is for a more special night, with a smaller group attending. Directly across from The Ritz Carlton D.C., The Gibson is a more secluded lounge with a great list of drinks available. For contact information, click here.
Bar-Code
1101 17th Street, NW, Washington D.C.
Bar-Code is only one black away from our showroom on 1130 Connecticut Ave. and is always crowded on a summer night! Not as secluded as The Gibson, Bar-Code has great outdoor seating and is perfect for meeting new people in the area. Bring an appetite when you come, they have a great menu!
