New Things To Try In The Area: How to celebrate MLK Day in DC

Martin Luther King Memorial

Visit the memorial on Monday to have National Park Rangers discuss with you Martin Luther King's roles in the Civil Rights Movement. For more info on the memorial, click here.

Let Freedom Ring!

The Kennedy Center and Georgetown University are hosting a musical celebration in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy. This is a free event that will be handing out tickets the day of the event, January 16th. For more information on this great event, click here.

Martin Luther King Day of Service

Throughout DC, oh January 16th, multiple different service projects will be taking place to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr.
