This NFL season will be the 92nd regular season for the National Football League, and is set to begin on September 8th. With the lockout lasting 18 plus weeks, Kimball Office along with the rest of America thought we were going to have a year with no football! On July 21st, the NFL owners announced that the lockout will be lifted if the NFL players who filed a lawsuit against the NFL drop their charges.
The NFL lockout was put in to action because of the NFL players union filing a law suit against the NFL owners; who are attempting to cut the salary of the players to boost their own salaries.
With the Redskins almost filling their 90 player limit, and the Arizona Cardinals signing 51 players in the last week, it is safe to say that the NFL lockout is over and that we will still have our Sunday and Monday football!
