Kathleen Knight, a Team Leader at Workspaces, was the lead for the Andrews Federal Credit Union Project.

Andrews Federal Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union with its main office at Suitland in Maryland, USA. Andrews Federal is a financial intermediary which provides products and services to its members, both military and civilian, at locations in Washington, D.C., Maryland and New Jersey, USA, Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium. Workspaces Team Knight (Kathleen Knight, Marcus Ozuna , Alexis Benjamin and our Designer Alexandra Schultz) along with Business Development Manager Dorlise O'Hare, was brought on early in the process of the renovation of their main headquarters to help establish budgets and drive the design of all furniture Solutions, working closely with their Architect Morgan Gick McBeath & Associates, PC. Keeping within the budget and desired aesthetic for their 4 floor. 80,000 square foot renovation, Workspaces provided a complete Kimball Solution with Interworks EQ workstations, Kimball Office Footprint and Definition private offices as well as Kimball seating used in task, conference and common areas.

In order from top to bottom we are showcasing our Mid Back Villa in a funky chartreuse with magenta accent pillows, our 120 degree Priority tables in our beautiful Cordoba Cherry finish with our Mid Back Xantos chairs, and last but not least our HUM. Minds At Work station with new "Drizzle" gray See Me Screens and Mobile Ped cushion tops. Each individual piece has been a great addition to our space! Georgy Olivieri, LEED AP, MBA is the Director of Architecture and Design Strategies at Kimball Office. She is responsible for building relationships and partnerships between the company and the design community across the U.S. With the company's current transition towards a design-based foundation, she is thrilled to be a part of the evolving organization, its vision and leadership.

Previously, she founded GO Initiatives to help companies develop unique strategies focused on customer aspirations. She has an unique capability for managment consulting having initiated a broad array of change initiatives including target MARKETING, team building, WEBSITE DESIGN, PR and SUSTAINABILITY TRAINING. She is recognized for a proven track record resulting in improved revenue growth, enhanced brand awareness and increased customer loyalty for past employers and current clients within major contract furniture manufacturers.

Georgy constantly seeks to introduce best practices for going green to other industries, based on her experience having repeatedly succeeded in 'greening' manufacturing entities since 2001. She believes that the same premise and strategic approach applies to diverse manufacturing and service industries. Her recent article in Case Studies: Outstanding Green Business Practices about her client, Kimball Office relates her methodology.

8/3 Weekend Vacations

In The News! Connecticut Ave To Be "All Lit Up"

Kimball Office's DC Showroom- located at 1130 Conneticut Ave. will be receive some special treatment soon!

In late November, a special installment will be set up by The Golden Triangle Bid and lighting designer for ther National Portrait Gallery, Alex Cooper.

LED lights will be installed in to the trees lining the streets to give a new festive glow to the area.
