In The News! 50 Women of Power in Business Awards Luncheon 

MEA Magazine, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency hosted the U.S.- Africa Trade and Investment Conference 2012 at the Washington Hilton this past Tuesday, the 15th of May. During the event, there was a luncheon recognizing 50 Women of Power in Business, which honored 50 women business leaders who are doing business nationally or internationally; women empowering communities around the world; and women shaping our economic future. 


Congratulations to Necole Parker of The Elocen Group, who was recognized at this event!

DC Events: DCBIA Annual Achievement Awards Dinner

Annie Leibovitz: Pilgrimage

This exhibition of works by one of America’s premier living photographers includes 64 photographs taken between April 2009 and May 2011. On view at the American Art Museum, these non-commissioned images of quintessentially American subjects include the homes of Thomas Jefferson, Emily Dickinson, and Elvis Presley, as well as Niagara Falls, Walden Pond and Old Faithful.

In The News! Cinco De Mayo Fiesta 
Kimball Office and Washington Group Sales (Kimball’s Select Dealer in the Washington Metro area) hosted a fantastic Cinco De Mayo party last night that rocked the Kimball Office showroom! WGS and Kimball welcomed commercial and federal end users, designers, architects, commercial real estate professionals, and other strategic business partners alike. The Margaritas were chilled, the quesadillas were plentiful, the decorations were festive, the Tecates were flowing, Corn Hole games were competitive, and the Mariachi band was AWESOME! The Kimball Office showroom was the THE place to be in D.C. on Wednesday night. The party was off the hook! Kudos to the Kimball Office and Washington Group Sales team members who made it all possible. Pictures below.
