Society Fair
This gourmet dining and boutique grocery store just opened a few days ago in Alexandria VA! Society Fair boasts a Wine and Cheese Bar, Demo Kitchen, Bakery, Cafe, Market, Butcher, and "Treats". This is the perfect place to pick up rare foods, or go with some foodie friends or family to browse! 

Cashion's Eat Place

Cashion's has just released a new weekend tasting menu, which will be 6-courses. The menu will be available Friday and Saturday and can be shared with an entire table. The new weekend tasting menu is a step above the usually casual Cashion's, with the menu being $85.00 per person.

New Things To Try In The Area: How to celebrate MLK Day in DC

Martin Luther King Memorial

Let Freedom Ring!

The Kennedy Center and Georgetown University are hosting a musical celebration in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy. This is a free event that will be handing out tickets the day of the event, January 16th. For more information on this great event, click here.

Check out these delicious restaurants to start out the New Year with a bang!


Graffiato
Opened in June 2011, Graffiato is an Italian- inspired restaurant located in Chinatown. Owned by celebrity chef Mike Isabella, from Top Chef Season 6, Isabella wanted to create a more personal interaction with guests by incorporating an open ham bar, and a large U-Shaped bar that overlooks a wood oven.

Graffiato is perfect for a later after work dinner with co-workers, family, or friends, with its late closing hours. Graffiato would also be perfect for an office dinner with its wide range of food selections and reasonably priced dishes.
Some of our favorite items on the menu include: The American Pie Pizza, The Jersey Shore Pizza, The Lobster Risotto, The Roasted Potato Gnocchi, The Scallops, The Wild Boar, and The Wild Mushroom Soup. 

Room 11

Room 11 has just announce that they will be expanding their restaurant located at 11th + Lamont St. NW! Room 11 is the perfect casual after work drinks and a great meal outing with friends and co-workers. Their menu changes faster than we can keep up, but the current  menu includes: Sea Scallops A La Plancha, Duck Confit, Short Rib, Beet Salad, Pot De Creme, and Cupcake of The Day. 

Room 11 has also recently announced that they will be open for Sunday Brunch with menu items including: Wild Mushroom Bruschetta, Fresh Seasonal Fruit Cup, Ginger Scone, Savory Chili French Toast, Smoke Salmon Plate, and Green Eggs with Ham.
