New Things To Try In The Area:
Mason Inn
Opening in mid August, Mason Inn is becoming a very popular eatery in Glover Park. It is a great casual sports bar with bar food! Some of the foods that we are most excited to try include: Grilled Wings, Fried Pickles, and the Shrimp Po Boy. Mason Inn is located at 2408 Wisconsin Ave., which previously was the site of the Historic live music venue Grog and Tankard. Carrying on this music tradition, Mason Inn has a large stage and dance floor that hosts local DJ's Thursday-Saturday, and other performers from across the Country. Mason Inn also hosts private events, which would be perfect for a casual get together with clients or co-workers!
The famous, 120 year old French Bakery just recently opened in DC in May 2011. With great menu items like pastries, omelets, quiches, soups, salads, and sandwiches. This Bakery has a real emphasis on Breads, and feels like they are an important component of any meal. Some of their specially made breads include: Flaxseed Bread, Flute & Badine, Individual Dinner Rolls, Soft Bread, Flamand Two Olive Bread, Two Cheese Bread, and Raisin Bread.
Paul would be perfect for a breakfast or light lunch with clients, family, or co-workers!
