New Things To Try In The Area:
Why not enjoy your summer the D.C. way? Here are a few of D.C.'s most popular and favorite eateries, which all have major followings and various public recognitions. Test them out for yourself and see if they live up to the hype!
Bens Chili Bowl
Opening in 1958, Ben's Chili Bowl has been a hit for over 53 years. Ben's notorious closing time of 4:00 AM on Friday's and Saturday's has been a tradition since 1968. With the assassination of Dr. King, riots swarmed D.C., and many retailers and restaurants shut down. Ben's received special permission from the Police to stay open after "curfew" and provide not only food, but shelter, to firefighters, activists, and public servants trying to create order in the city. More recently, owners Ben and Virginia have been induced into the DC Hall of Fame, and were given the Key to the City in 2008. Ben's Chili Bowl still resides in its original location at 1213 U Street NW, while also expanding into the lot next door to create Ben's Next Door. In 2008 a smaller Ben's Chili Bowl opened in National's Stadium, and a 4th location is now open at RFK Stadium. Our favorites at this Landmark are: Ben's Famous All Meat Chili Dog!, Chili-Cheese Fries, and the Chili Con Carne. To Check out more, click here.

Founding Farmers
Offering "farm-inspired American Classics", Founding Farmers has a long list of awards that credit it with being one of the top eateries in DC. Being ranked as the Best Restaurant in DC for the past three years, winning the 2011 RAMMY Awards, and being LEED Gold Certified for their commercial interior space, attribute to how well rounded this institution is. Founding Farmers is owned by a collection of "true" American farmers, promoting natural ingredients and seasonal menus. Our favorites are: Skillet Corn Bread, Devil-ish Eggs, the Prime Rib Dip Sandwich, Southern Fried Chicken, and the Long Roasted Pork Prime Rib Chop. Located at 1924 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Founding Farmers is perfect for an adventurous client, or just a fun dining experience with co-workers, friends, or family.
The Capital Grille
Be "Wined, Dined, and Dazzled" at The Capital Grille. This elegant restaurant specializes in fresh seafood and dry aged steaks. Being honored with the "Achievement of Excellence Award" from the American Culinary Federation made this steakhouse become popular quickly in the business world and with the political crowd. A few of our favorites are: the Lobster and Crab Cakes, the Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged Sirloin with Caramelized Shallot Butter, and the Flourless Expresso Chocolate Cake. The Capital Grille is located at 601 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, DC.
Old Ebbitt Grill
Originally opening its doors 155 years ago in 1856, The Old Ebbitt Grill has been popular with Presidents like Grant, Cleveland, Harding, and Teddy Roosevelt. Owned and operated by Clyde's, both of these quintessential DC restaurants offer classic and fresh food. Our favorites on the menu are: The Breakfast Club, The Grilled New York Strip Steak, The House Smoked BBQ Pork Ribs, and The Freshly Shucked Oysters. The Old Ebbitt Grill is a must for a great breakfast, lunch, or dinner with clients, and can also cater to private parties.
